Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to arrive in Pakistan on February 12 for his first official visit after the formation of the new government in March 2024.
He will co-chair the 7th session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on February 13.
The HLSCC, established in 2009, serves as a key platform for high-level consultations to strengthen bilateral ties.
The upcoming session is expected to focus on enhancing cooperation in areas such as defense, security, trade, economic collaboration, and cultural exchange.
The Joint Declaration, which will be released at the end of the meeting, is eagerly awaited. Previous sessions of the HLSCC have been held alternately in Islamabad and Ankara.
