Saudi Arabia’s Investment Minister, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, is set to visit Pakistan

Saudi Arabia’s Investment Minister, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, is set to visit Pakistan with a high-level delegation from October 9 to 11.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation and economic partnerships between the two nations. In recent months, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have been actively working to boost trade and investment, with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reaffirming a commitment to expedite a $5 billion investment package to Pakistan.
This collaboration is vital for Pakistan as it seeks to escape a prolonged economic crisis characterized by high inflation and a weakened currency. The delegation will include representatives from Saudi government agencies and the private sector, who will engage with Pakistan’s prime minister and president during their stay.
Pakistan announced on Monday that security around the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Government summit is a top priority of the government and measures are being taken to ensure the safety and security of all guests who visit Pakistan for the meeting.
“Pakistan is ready to host the SCO Heads of Government meeting. We are ready to welcome all our distinguished guests and to make their visit and stay in Pakistan as comfortable as possible”.
