Reko Diq Mining Company announces the selection of 18 graduates from Balochistan

The Reko Diq Mining Company proudly announces the selection of 18 graduates from Balochistan for its prestigious two-year on-the-job training program.
As part of the International Graduate Development Program (IGP), these graduates will gain hands-on experience at Barrick’s mining operations in Argentina and Zambia, learning vital skills for the mining industry.
Barrick CEO Mark Bristow emphasized the program’s goal of empowering local youth and bridging the skills gap in the region. With over 3,000 applicants for the 2024 cohort, the selected graduates come from various districts, including Panjgur, Gwadar, and Quetta, and hold degrees in fields like Electrical, Mechanical, and Geological Engineering.
This initiative not only enhances career prospects but also fosters local economic development.
