PM Shehbaz Sharif seeks plans for $25 billion target IT export

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called on IT experts to devise strategies and plans to reach the $25 billion target for IT exports over the next five years.
In his speech, the Prime Minister praised Google’s contributions both to Pakistan and globally. He urged IT companies and experts to develop strategies to equip the youth with modern skills, enabling them to secure productive jobs not only in Pakistan but also in the Gulf States and other regions.
Additionally, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for a comprehensive strategy to transition to a completely paperless and digitized governance system to combat corruption. He also highlighted the importance of promoting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan. He stated that both federal and provincial governments must leverage their resources for the education, training, and empowerment of the youth.
