PM shahbaz Sharif ordered government offices to go paperless within month
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has tasked the Ministry of Information Technology and other relevant departments with implementing the e-office system across all government offices. He has mandated that paperless operations be fully established within a month and emphasized that any delays in the e-office rollout will be unacceptable.
The prime minister asserted, “From next month, there should be no file work conducted without the e-office system in government offices,” underscoring that enhancing transparency through the e-office system is a top government priority. He also directed that all government officers ensure that file management is conducted exclusively through the e-office system.
In line with the prime minister’s directive, the staff at the PM Office has already completed training for the e-office system. Last week, the prime minister himself received files via the e-office system.
