Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif has advanced to the final of the IBSF World Snooker Championship.
In the semi-final match held in Qatar, Asif defeated Michael Georgiou from Cyprus with a score of 5-3. His frame scores were 53-57, 5-71, 0-94, 6-111, 45-77, 9-73, 24-74, and 51-58.
Notably, Asif achieved a century break in the fourth frame. After dropping the first two frames, he rallied to win four consecutive frames, although Georgiou managed to take the seventh. Asif then secured his victory by clinching the decisive eighth frame.
This marks the third time Asif has reached the IBSF World Snooker Championship final, having previously claimed the title in 2012 and 2019.
