Pakistan’s exports to the United States saw a 10.4% increase during the first eight months of the current fiscal year, according to official figures. Exports to North America overall grew by 9.7%, reaching $4.2 billion.
Textiles and garments continued to dominate, accounting for 94% of exports to the U.S., underscoring the sector’s vital contribution to Pakistan’s economy.
The growth is credited to enhanced trade facilitation through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and rising demand for Pakistani products in the U.S. market. Government-led trade policy reforms have also significantly boosted this upward trend.
