Pakistan’s exports to the EU surged by 14% in the first five months of the fiscal year 2024-25, reaching $4.8 billion

Pakistan’s exports to the European Union (EU) have surged by 14% in the first five months of the fiscal year 2024-25, reaching $4.8 billion compared to $4.2 billion during the same period last year, according to official trade data.
In November 2024 alone, exports to EU nations rose by 16%, totaling $894 million, up from $769 million in November 2023. Key EU markets such as Germany, France, and Belgium saw significant growth, with exports to Germany up by 20%, while the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy also experienced increases.
Meanwhile, exports to the US, UK, UAE, and Afghanistan also showed notable growth. Exports to China, however, saw a 14% decline. Overall, exports to the EU performed stronger than other regions, except Oceania.
