Pakistan’s academic landscape 43 researchers from NUST recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally for 2024

This prestigious annual ranking, conducted by Stanford University and Elsevier, honors researchers who have made impactful contributions in fields such as artificial intelligence, engineering, and cybersecurity.

NUST’s representation on this list has notably increased, rising from nine scientists in 2021 to 43 this year. Currently ranked 353rd globally and 64th in Asia by QS University Rankings, NUST continues to solidify its status as a premier research institution in Pakistan.

This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to fostering high-impact research and enhancing Pakistan’s standing in the international scientific community.
