Pakistani hockey star Sufyan Khan honored with the Emerging Player of the Year award
Young Pakistani hockey star Sufyan Khan has been honored with the Emerging Player of the Year award by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) in Oman.
The prestigious recognition highlights Sufyan’s exceptional talent and potential on the global hockey stage. This year, Sufyan made waves at the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament, where he was named Man of the Match, and further impressed by scoring four goals at the Asian Champions Trophy in China.
His standout performance played a key role in Pakistan’s historic victory over South Korea, securing the bronze medal for the first time in eight years. The award marks a promising future for Pakistani hockey, acknowledging Sufyan’s growing impact internationally.
