Pakistan to unveil country’s first locally assembled EV

Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) industry is expanding rapidly, with new players like Deepal by Changan Pakistan and BYD entering the market.
At the 12th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024, Dewan Motors will unveil the Honri Ve, the country’s first locally assembled EV, emphasizing sustainable mobility.
The Honri Ve 2.0 features a 30 kW power output, 84 Nm torque, a top speed of 100 km/h, and a range of 200 km per charge, fully recharging in 7 hours. It includes front disc brakes, 15-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen.
The Honri Ve 3.0 offers a 300 km range on a single charge (CLTC), also recharging in 7 hours. It provides 35 kW of power and 87 Nm of torque, powered by a 29.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery.
Key safety features include a rearview camera and tire pressure monitoring system. The launch of Honri Ve marks a significant advancement in Pakistan’s sustainable transportation efforts.
