Pakistan and China sign $382 million agricultural cooperation agreement

At the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing, International Innovation Park Limited EPZ and China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs (COFCO) signed a $380 million agreement to advance agricultural cooperation.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, praised the milestone, highlighting Pakistan’s trade advantages with major economies through CPFTA. Liu Zhai and Naveed Asghar signed an MoU for digital transformation in Pakistan’s textile sector.
Shaikh Muhammad Shariq of NBP emphasized CIFTIS as a key platform for global financial collaboration. Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan highlighted the ongoing strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
