Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Chief Minister Transport Programme for Women

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Chief Minister Transport Programme for Women, delivering 76 buses to girls’ colleges across the province.
In the first phase, 19 buses were handed over to college principals in transport-deprived tehsils, including Bhakkar, Sialkot, and Hasilpur.
The initiative will expand in two more phases, providing buses to additional colleges by April 2025.
During the launch, CM Maryam Nawaz inspected the buses and considered adding air-conditioned vehicles.
She also directed authorities to redesign incentive packages for foreign investors during a meeting with Portugal’s ambassador.
