Maryam Nawaz announces Laptops for students
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has set an ambitious goal to distribute laptops to students within 90 days as part of the Chief Minister’s Laptop and Merit Scholarship Program.
The initiative will provide the latest Core i7, 13th-generation laptops to students across Punjab, including 2,000 minority students and top position holders from Matriculation and Intermediate exams. A total of 35,000 laptops will be distributed, with a focus on fields like Computer Science, Medicine, Engineering, and Agriculture.
Additionally, 30,000 students from public institutions and 10,000 from private institutions will receive scholarships, including 18,000 female students. The program aims to boost educational access and empower students, especially from Southern Punjab.
