KP Government partnered with Netracon Technologies to construct the province’s first independent power transmission line

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has partnered with Netracon Technologies Ltd. to construct the province’s first independent power transmission line, a 40-km, 132/220 KV line from Matiltan to Madian, at a projected cost of Rs8 billion.
The project, expected to be completed within 18 months, will support the 84 MW Matiltan Hydropower Project and other provincial energy initiatives, allowing electricity distribution to the national grid or local industry at reduced rates.
Generating an estimated Rs7 billion annually, this line marks Phase 1 of the Swat Corridor Transmission Line, with Phase 2 extending from Madian to Chakdara.
