India has praised Pakistan for successfully hosting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar congratulated Pakistan and expressed India’s support for the summit during his speech.

He noted that the summit occurs amid complex global issues, including wars, the impact of COVID-19 on developing countries, and climate change affecting economies. Jaishankar emphasized the importance of mutual trust and cooperation, referencing the SCO Charter’s call for friendship and good neighborliness, and stressed the need for honest dialogue to address any existing issues.
