EV maker BYD to launch EV in Pakistan

BYD Global, a leading Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, is set to launch its cars in Pakistan on August 17th, in partnership with Mega Motor, a The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO) subsidiary.

This collaboration marks BYD’s entry into the Pakistani market with fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, aiming to revolutionize the country’s automotive sector.

Known for its leadership in new energy vehicles, BYD has sold 8 million vehicles since 2021.

The launch will also focus on establishing a charging infrastructure to support widespread adoption.

This initiative aligns with Pakistan’s goals for sustainable transportation and reducing fossil fuel use.
