Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Inaugurates First Govt led autism school

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken a significant step towards supporting individuals with autism by laying the foundation stone of the first government-run autism school in Lahore. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to be completed within a year and will feature 11 classrooms for junior students and 10 classrooms for senior students.
The school’s infrastructure will also include specialized rooms such as a cubicle speech session room, a therapy room, a pre-vocational training room, and a computer room, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students with autism.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of compassion and love for children with autism, stating that this project is close to her heart. Her initiative aims to provide equal opportunities and support to individuals with autism, promoting inclusivity and social welfare in Punjab
