Bureau of Immigration has launched an online e-protector facility, which is also available at airports

The Federal Ombudsman, Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, stepped in on Wednesday to address the ongoing issue of e-protector stamps for Pakistani passports of those traveling abroad for work or education.
As a result, the Bureau of Immigration has launched an online e-protector facility, which is also available at airports.
It is mandatory for travelers heading to the Middle East or other regions for employment to have a protector stamp on their passports; without it, they will not be permitted to board their flights. Many individuals are turned away at the airport for lacking this stamp.
This situation leads to not only the loss of job opportunities abroad but also the money spent on purchasing tickets.
Following the Federal Ombudsman’s instructions, the online e-protector stamp facility is now operational at all international airports in the country, available 24/7. This allows travelers who may have forgotten to get their passports stamped to do so before leaving. So far this year, 14,339 Pakistanis have utilized this service.
