Air Ambulance Service started in Punjab

During her visit to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized urgent administrative measures for the hospital’s improvement. She interacted with heart patient Amjad Ali, who was airlifted from Bahawalpur, and expressed the Air Ambulance Service as a public right.
Maryam directed the swift completion of PIC-2 to alleviate patient congestion, ensuring the appointment of an administrative head and modern facilities. After inspecting the emergency ward, she addressed issues faced by patients, including the immediate provision of wheelchairs, and vowed to take strict action against corruption within the hospital.
