Pakistan has issued 154 visas to Indian pilgrims for their visit to the Shree Katas Raj Temples in Chakwal

Pakistan has issued 154 visas to Indian pilgrims for their visit to the Shree Katas Raj Temples in Chakwal, scheduled from February 24 to March 2, 2025.

The visas were granted by the High Commission for Pakistan in New Delhi.

Charge d’Affaires Saad Ahmad Warraich expressed good wishes for the pilgrims, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating religious visits as part of its efforts to promote interfaith harmony.

Under the 1974 Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines, thousands of Indian pilgrims visit Pakistan annually. In contrast, India recently denied visas to 400 Pakistani pilgrims for an Urs event at Ajmer Sharif.
