Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed MoU to collaborate on publishing and translating the Holy Quran
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on publishing and translating the Holy Quran to promote Islamic knowledge.
The agreement was announced by the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs on X, marking a significant step in strengthening ties between the two nations. The ceremony, held in Jeddah, was attended by Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs.
The MoU outlines cooperation in various areas, including Quran publication and translation, preacher and imam training, mosque management, and sharing expertise in mosque construction.
It also focuses on reviving Islamic heritage, publishing Islamic literature, and preserving historical manuscripts. This collaboration is aimed at promoting the true message of Islam and its virtues of moderation.
