Pakistani and Chinese companies signed 13 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth $250 million, aiming to foster joint ventures and investment partnerships in the animal fodder and fruits and vegetables processing sectors.

 

The signing ceremony, witnessed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi, followed a B2B matchmaking event organized by the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing and the Board of Investment (BOI).

 

With over 150 meetings, including 30 virtual engagements, the event facilitated meaningful connections between the two countries’ businesses. Ambassador Hashmi highlighted Pakistan’s agricultural strengths, emphasizing the growth in animal fodder and food processing industries.

 

This collaboration reflects the growing trade ties between Pakistan and China, offering a platform for long-term investment and partnership opportunities.
