This project aims to enhance bulk transportation capabilities and support national economic growth. The rail link, running from Islamkot to Chhor, will enable more efficient coal transportation, benefiting industries like cement and textiles by offering a cost-effective fuel alternative.
Financed through a joint venture by the Sindh and federal governments, this initiative is a vital step towards improving infrastructure and reducing logistics costs across the country.
