FBR unveiled ePayment 2.0, an upgraded platform aimed at simplifying tax payments

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has unveiled ePayment 2.0, an upgraded platform aimed at simplifying tax payments across Pakistan. With the new system, taxpayers can securely make payments directly from their bank accounts via internet banking, ATMs, or mobile banking, without visiting physical bank branches.

ePayment 2.0 covers a range of taxes, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise Duty, and integrates seamlessly with the IRIS 2.0 system. The platform generates a unique Payment Slip ID (PSID) for easy and quick payments, with receipts sent via email and SMS for instant confirmation.

The new system offers a comprehensive PSID search feature to enhance transparency and improve payment tracking, supporting FBR’s efforts to modernize tax administration.
