Pharmaceutical exports from Pakistan increases 31.11%

Pharmaceutical exports from Pakistan have experienced remarkable growth, recording a 31.11% increase in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25 compared to the same period last year.
From July to September 2024, the exports reached $105.936 million, a substantial rise from $80.796 million during the same months in 2023, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
In September 2024, the sector witnessed a 61.55% surge year-on-year, with exports hitting $43.607 million, compared to $26.992 million in September 2023.
Additionally, there was a 53.78% increase month-on-month from $28.357 million in August 2024.
This growth reflects the expanding capabilities and competitiveness of Pakistan’s pharmaceutical industry on the global stage.
