Pakistan’s Nooh Butt has claimed the title of Commonwealth Champion in the 120-kilogram category
Stunning debut, Pakistan’s Nooh Butt has claimed the title of Commonwealth Champion in the 120-kilogram category at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship in South Africa.
Butt delivered an outstanding performance, earning three gold medals and one bronze, with a total lift of 860 kilograms in the open category. He excelled in the squat and bench press events, lifting 370 kilograms and 210 kilograms, respectively, and secured a bronze in the deadlift with a lift of 280 kilograms.
Previously, Muhammad Noor Dastagir Butt won a silver medal in 2017 at the Gold Coast, Australia, and has multiple bronze medals from international competitions.
