National athletes Shajar Abbas and Tameem Khan were crowned Pakistan’s fastest sprinters during a competition at Punjab Stadium in Lahore, organized by the Pakistan Athletics Federation in collaboration with a local college.
More than 50 athletes competed for the titles of the country’s fastest male and female sprinters.
Shajar Abbas demonstrated his prowess once again, setting a new national record in the 100-meter race with an impressive time of 10.34 seconds.
In the same event, Pakistan Army athlete Naveed claimed the second position.
On the women’s side, Tameem Khan of the Pakistan Army triumphed, completing the 100-meter sprint in 11.80 seconds, securing her place as Pakistan’s fastest woman athlete.
