India likely to play in Pakistan-hosted 2025 Champions Trophy Says PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has voiced confidence regarding India’s participation in the upcoming 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which Pakistan will host. Scheduled to kick off on February 19, 2025, and concluding with the final on March 9, the tournament will feature eight teams competing across major cities like Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.

Naqvi acknowledged that the last time India’s cricket team visited Pakistan was in 2008, with subsequent tours affected by political issues. However, he remains optimistic, stating, “I am fully confident in the Indian team’s participation. There’s no indication they will cancel or postpone, and we anticipate all teams will join.”
