Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrived in Pakistan for a three-day official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation. He was warmly received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who honored him with a 21-gun salute.
During his visit, PM Ibrahim will meet with Shehbaz and other leaders to discuss a wide-ranging agenda aimed at strengthening bilateral ties in trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the halal industry, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
The two sides will also address regional and global developments. Last month, Malaysia expressed interest in enhancing cooperation in defense, science and technology, renewable energy, and improving product quality to boost industrial collaboration with Pakistan.
