Pakistan has compiled a list of over 70 collaborative projects with China for the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), set to be presented to the Chinese Prime Minister next month.
These initiatives span various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, trade, and technology, aiming to deepen bilateral cooperation following the successful completion of CPEC’s first phase. The focus will be on five new development corridors: growth, innovation, green development, livelihood improvement, and regional connectivity.
Key projects include enhancements to the Gwadar International Airport, the East Bay Expressway, and the Karakoram Highway. Additionally, energy initiatives like the GEIP LNG terminal and new hydropower projects are planned, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to infrastructure and resource development.
