Pakistan’s top mountaineer, Shehroze Kashif, is set to travel to Tibet next week, aiming to become the first climber from his country to summit all 14 peaks over 8,000 meters.
With 13 summits already under his belt, Kashif’s final challenge is Shishapangma, which stands at 8,027 meters and requires special permission from Chinese authorities.
He began his quest nearly five years ago, driven by his dream of being the youngest climber to achieve this milestone. After facing setbacks, including an accident that closed Shishapangma last year, Kashif is now ready and fully prepared for the ascent. His journey reflects the spirit of adventure and pride for Pakistan in the mountaineering community.
