Pakistan has introduced its first low-carbon energy storage initiative, aimed at bolstering the nation’s energy infrastructure.
The project, unveiled at a ceremony in the federal capital, was attended by Romina Khurshid Alam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change.
Alam highlighted that the Energy Storage as a Service (ESaaS) model, where energy storage is provided as a service rather than a capital expense, marks a significant innovation.
This initiative not only advances Pakistan’s technological capabilities but also underscores its commitment to combating climate change.
