Four new technology zones launched in Punjab

Pakistan has launched four Special Technology Zones (STZs) in Punjab, with the potential to boost annual exports by $350 million.

The zones are set to accommodate up to 50,000 professionals and will play a crucial role in the country’s expanding tech industry, according to a Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA).

These STZs, which align with the Prime Minister’s vision for youth employment and tech advancement, include NUST and Tech7 in Islamabad, Mindbridge in Lahore, and Capital Smart in Rawalpindi. Together, they span 1.4 million square feet and 130 acres dedicated to tech development.
