Sindh is set to establish 300 digital microschools
Sindh is set to establish 300 digital microschools, aiming to enroll 300,000 out-of-school children across the province. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced this initiative, which will also involve hiring over 600 female learning facilitators and comes with an approved budget of Rs800 million.
This move was decided during a Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) board meeting, attended by key officials including Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah and SEF Managing Director Kazi Kabir. The microschools will use smartphones and tablets to bring education to underprivileged children, modernizing the traditional one-room schoolhouse model.
