20000 applications received for Hajj program 2025

A total of 20,170 applications for the Hajj 2024 Government Scheme had been submitted, with the application process still ongoing at designated banks across Pakistan. The deadline for submissions is December 3, and balloting will take place on December 6.

 

Additionally, a special quota of 5,000 seats has been reserved for overseas Pakistanis, with applications processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

In a related development, the government recently announced a significant reduction in airfare for Hajj 2025. The cost of airfare has dropped by Rs. 14,000 per person, now totaling Rs. 220,000, thanks to a $50 reduction.

 

This relief package will benefit around 89,605 pilgrims, with Pakistan International Airlines, Saudi Airlines, and private carriers participating.
