15 passengers rescued stranded due to heavy snowfall

On November 14, 15 passengers traveling from Gultari to Skardu via Deosai were stranded due to heavy snowfall and lost all ground communication. Families and locals urgently called for help, leading to a swift response from the Pakistan Army.
A joint team of Army soldiers embarked on foot to rescue the trapped passengers, facing harsh weather conditions and continuous snowfall. Despite these challenges, the team successfully reached the travelers and carried out the rescue.
In addition to the ground operation, two Army helicopters were dispatched, though poor visibility and heavy snowfall made aerial efforts difficult. The locals and passengers expressed deep gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their timely and heroic rescue.
